FF 034 - How 368 Will Revolutionize Creativity, Smart Contracts, and How to Make the Perfect Pitch

Hello from New York City! (after 5 months, my trip around the world is over *bitter-sweet emoji*)

I will be launching a new FREE (for a limited time) online course called: From Dropout to Entrepreneur - How to Find a Profitable Idea and Work on Your Side-Business Without Quitting Your Day Job, in about a month; if you're interested sign-up here.

Welcome to the 34th Edition of FRIDAY FAVORITES!

Check out this week's list of things I've learned, how I've implemented them, and what I'm enjoying or pondering.

If you're also on the adventurous pursuit of smart passive income it'll come in handy 😉.

All the best,
- Adrien

I'm trying to understand more about smart contracts. It's not my forte, but damn is it interesting and exciting.

2. What I Am Doing: Getting to know 368. A revolutionary nascent startup.

Casey Neistat of 368

I've followed Casey Neistat's work since he started sharing it. It's all great, but nothing compares to how excited I am about his newest company: 368.

If any of you have been here long enough to know that before I started Echo Studio I was running a non-profit called Interest District, you'd know why I'm so pumped about this.

Basically, it's going to empower people to create and live off their creations. To make an army of millions of world-class creators that can, in turn, become world-class teachers to help future generations.

To create a world where everyone can live the lives they want.

Yes, it’s idealistic, but I share that vision and it's what we work towards with Echo Studio every single day.

The most exciting part is that Casey has the creative means and now the creative physical space to make it a reality. BUT if that's not enough, he now also has active partnerships with two other giants, both Jack Conte (the CEO of Patreon) AND Alexis Ohanian (Executive Chairman of Reddit)...😱

So he also has crowdfunding and the entire tech side taken care of, but I'll let Casey explain further:

3. What I Am Enjoying: These videos about 368 and watching the vision slowly come together

4. What I Have Learned / Applied: How to Pitch A-Players: The most successful people in the world

Most of my strategy is derived from Tim Ferriss's episode: How to Build a World-Class Network in Record Time and the rest is derived from the philosophy behind, Ramit Sethi's Briefcase Technique.

Basically, I'll craft a single page pitch that's extremely clear, succinct, and to the point with only ONE call to action which directs the reader to visit a certain link. That link will lead them to a page on my site that is perfectly tailored to them and allows them to explore the potential options of the pitch in an interactive and more detailed way on their own time.

This way, I don't bother them when they're obviously extremely busy, but I still get to show how much I care, how much time I've invested, and how I can provide value in a detailed way.

5. Thought(s) I Am Pondering:

Will we ever rid ourselves of our biases? How can we systematise and popularize that practice?

Thanks for reading, have an awesome weekend! 😁
