Aim

Aim

"If you set your goals ridiculously high and it’s a failure, you will fail above everyone else’s success." - James Cameron

There are many versions of this message conveyed in different ways. ⠀

But, to me, the importance lies in the words left unsaid. ⠀

Motivation

Motivation

Ahh dreams 😴. Where anything can happen.

In yesterday's blog we explored how dreams are achievable. How it's simply a matter of context and understanding what it takes rather than pursuing the "impossible" blindly.

Today is not about that.

Today is about letting ourselves dream up those big wonderful things because allowing ourselves that freedom actually grants us an invisible super power.

MOTIVATION 👊

Dreams

Dreams

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” - Henry David Thoreau (but not really; read on.)

We've all been told to follow our dreams.

Whether through the inspiring narrative behind every cartoon, or the reassuring warm feeling our parents give us.

But here's the thing we aren't usually told. It's a simple change of context that may have changed everything all along.

The popularized quote above has been paraphrased and taken out of context.

Perseverance

Perseverance

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King is THE quintessential example for the power and significance of perseverance.

If you push through. If you don't take no for an answer. If you embody the opposite of everything your enemy wishes to label you with.

You will make it.

We cannot fail if we don't accept failure. It is just the difficulty of the journey to success that stops those who give up.

Perseverance is looking above and beyond the journey because we've already instilled a razor-sharp focus on the end goal. Everything else is temporary.

Fight for it. Like Dr. King, you can achieve your dream. 🌎😊

Dare

Dare

"Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can’t see from the center. Big, undreamed-of things—the people on the edge see them first." Kurt Vonnegut

Entering a saturated space is no excuse for lacking creativity. Dare to fail. Leave the comfort zone and start getting comfortable on the edge.
